PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant composition achieving both of excellent oxidation life and low sludge resistance which are impossible to combine by a combination of a conventional sulfur-based antioxidant and a conventional chain terminator.SOLUTION: There is provided a lubricant composition made by blending [A] a sulfur compound represented by the following general formula (1) of 10 to 400 mass.ppm as a sulfur element amount in terms of the lubricant composition and [B] a chain terminator, in a lubricant base oil, and containing substantially no sulfur-containing metal complex, where each of l and m independently represents an integer of 5 or more, and n represents an integer of 1 to 3.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
