PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swash plate type compressor piston not requiring to change substantially a pressure receiving area of a piston, but capable of restricting a local increasing of surface pressure applied to the piston.SOLUTION: A resilient deformation part 70 allowing a resilient deformation in a radial direction is integrally formed at an end part of an engaging part 60 slidably contacted with a cylinder bore of a main body part 50 of a piston 15, i.e. at a portion opposite to a bridge part 63 of the engaging part 60 in respect to an axis line M of the main body part 50. The resilient deformation part 70 may be formed at the most-spaced apart position from the bridge part 63 in a radial direction by forming a thickness-stealing recess 71 in an axial direction between an end part of the main body part 50 facing the side of the engaging part 60, i.e. the most-spaced apart location in a radial direction from the bridge part 63 and the axis line M of the main body part 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
