The present invention relates to a lithium secondary battery having excellent electrochemical properties and productivity, and a manufacturing method of an anode electrode. The manufacturing method of an anode electrode comprises the steps of: forming a first mixed solution by mixing a glycerol solution and an iron precursor; heating the first mixed solution to form an iron oxide from the first mixed solution; forming a second mixed solution by mixing the iron oxide and a glucose solution; and heating the second mixed solution to form a carbon-coated iron oxide.
