PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser marker and a parameter setting method which make a processing result at a writing start position result in a desired result by subjecting a pumping laser for exciting a processing laser medium having a passive type Q switch to current supply control on writing start by using a first amperage, a second amperage and a first time.SOLUTION: A laser marker system 1 comprises a passive type Q switch laser 17 and a pumping laser 21 for exciting a medium of the same to decide a first amperage that makes the output of the passive type Q switch laser 17 into 5W, a second amperage that makes the output of the passive type Q switch laser 17 more than zero and less than 5W, and a first time to supply the second amperage. After the laser marker system 1 is started, the second amperage is supplied to the pumping laser 21, and the first amperage is supplied to the pumping laser 21 on an elapse of the first time from the start of supplying the second amperage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
