PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress jitter and wander by mitigating a gap that is generated in mapping a low-speed client signal to an OPU frame.SOLUTION: An optical transmission device includes: a serializer/deserializer by which an inputted client signal is converted into parallel data at a k-fold ((k) is an exponentiation of 2) and outputted; a frame generation part for generating a transmission frame from the client signal; and a stuff control part which is connected to output of the parallel data, performs stuff arithmetic for mapping the client signal to the transmission frame for the unit of 1/k bit and calculates a Cn (n=1/k) value that is a theoretical value of the stuff arithmetic.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
