PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a difluoro ionic complex for an electrochemical device, used for protecting electrode surfaces, the method generating not only little waste due to high fluorine utilization efficiency without using a reaction auxiliary but also little residual chlorine component.SOLUTION: The method for producing a difluoro ionic complex comprises fluorinating a 6-coordinate ionic complex having a ligand such as oxalic acid, perfluoropinacol, or hexafluoro-2-hydroxyisobutyric acid by a fluorinating agent such as acidic potassium fluoride, acidic sodium fluoride, and an organic amine hydrogen fluoride salt with excess hydrogen fluoride in a nonaqueous solvent such as carbonate esters, ketones, and ethers in the presence of an acid other than the fluorinating agent or a Lewis acid.EFFECT: Because the method does not use a conventional reaction auxiliary such as SiCl, BCl, or AlCl, there is no need to discard fluorine which reacted with the reaction auxiliary, and only a small amount of waste is generated due to high fluorine utilization efficiency, and also an amount of residual chlorine component is small because the reaction auxiliary containing chlorine is not used.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
