PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrial gear oil having extremely excellent temperature viscosity property as compared with conventional lubricants containing the same lubricant base oil from the point of view of energy saving of industrial equipment machines.SOLUTION: There is provided a lubricant composition for industrial gear containing (A) a lubricant base oil having a kinetic viscosity at 100°C of 1 to 100 mm/s, a viscosity index of 100 or more, and a flow point of 0°C or less of 10 to 90 mass%, and (B) an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer having an ethylene percentage content of 30 to 85 mol%, a kinetic viscosity at 100°C of 400 to 5,000 mm/s, a weight average molecular weight (Mw) of 4,000 to 30,000, a molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) of 2.5 or less, a B value of 1.1 or more, and an unsaturated bond amount of less than 0.5 per 1000 carbon atoms of 90 to 10 mass% (where the total of (A) and (B) is 100 mass%), and having a kinetic viscosity at 40°C of 100 to 10,000 mm/s.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
