PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress delay in liquid supply to a head without making time required for liquid discharge to a discharge object medium such as a recording sheet longer.SOLUTION: An inkjet printer comprises an inkjet head 5, a sub-tank 4 which is provided between the inkjet head 5 and a cartridge holder, and a compliance change part 60 which changes compliance of the sub-tank 4. The compliance change part 60 changes the compliance between a discharge period and a discharge pause period so that the compliance of the sub-tank 4 in the discharge pause period during the discharge period becomes smaller than the compliance of the sub-tank 4 in the discharge period in which the inkjet head 5 discharges ink to a recording sheet 100.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
