PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zoom lens which is suitable for use with digital still cameras and video cameras and offers high magnification, compactness, good correction for various aberrations, and a camera-shake correction feature.SOLUTION: Some lenses including a cemented lens located on the most image plane side in a third lens group G3, having an aperture stop and located in the center of the entire zoom lens system with a minimized effective diameter, function as a camera-shake correction lens group that moves in a direction perpendicular to an optical axis to correct for camera shake. An actuator mechanism for driving the compact, light-weight camera shake correction lens group in the direction perpendicular to the optical axis is designed in a compact and energy saving form.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
