PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost of a permanent magnet type synchronous rotary electric machine.SOLUTION: A permanent magnet type synchronous rotary electric machine 100 includes: a shaft 11 extending in an axial direction; a rotor core 12 with which a flux barrier 31 circumferentially spreading and axially extending in a curved face shape projected towards a rotation axis center in each circumferential angle region and a tabular space which is in a circumferential center of the flux barrier, thinner than a radial width of the flux barrier 31 and spread in a direction of a rotation axis are formed and a laminate sheet is included; a tabular permanent magnet 51 which is provided so as to occupy the tabular space; a stator core 21 which is disposed in an outer circumference of the rotor core 12 while being spaced apart from the rotor core 12 and with which a plurality of stator teeth 22 protruding towards the radial inside are formed; and multi-phase armature coils 24 of multiple electrodes which are wound around the plurality of stator teeth 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
