PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas sensor system capable of diagnosing an occurrence point of short-circuit anomaly in a gas sensor and contents thereof while the gas sensor has a low temperature.SOLUTION: A gas sensor system 1 includes a gas sensor 2 having a cell 14 electrically connected to a first terminal T1 and a second terminal T2 as well as a cell 24 electrically connected to the second terminal T2 and a third terminal T3, and a sensor control unit 40 having detection circuits 41, 42, and 43 that detect terminal potentials V1, V2, and V3 of the first terminal T1 to the third terminal T3, respectively. The sensor control unit 40 includes: a circuit 44 that applies an inspection potential Vex to the second terminal T2; a first circuit 45 that has a predetermined resistance value R1c and connects between the first terminal T1 and the second terminal T2 so that the terminals can be connected and disconnected; a second circuit 46 that has a predetermined resistance value R2c and connects between the second terminal T2 and the third terminal T3 so that the terminals can be connected and disconnected; and a terminal potential detection means S5 that applies the inspection potential Vex to the second terminal T2 and detects the terminal potentials V1, V2, and V3 by using the detection circuits 41, 42, and 43, respectively, while a first switch SW1 and a second switch SW2 are turned on.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
