摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger state estimation system and an on-vehicle apparatus with an improved estimation accuracy of a passenger state in vehicle collision.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle apparatus performs: discriminating whether a collision has occurred to a vehicle itself using an on-vehicle sensor; causing, if it is discriminated that the vehicle itself has collided, a recording medium to record at least one piece of data of passenger information, vehicle operation information and a degree of collision at the time of the collision. The on-vehicle apparatus transmits to a center: in a case where the discriminated collision is a collision equivalent to airbag expansion, data taken at the time of the collision equivalent to the airbag expansion; and, in a case where it is discriminated that a collision including a collision not equivalent to an airbag expansion has occurred to the vehicle itself with a given period of time prior to the collision equivalent to the airbag expansion, data taken at the time of the collision including the collision not equivalent to an airbag expansion. The center receives the data transmitted from the vehicle and estimates a state of the passenger of the vehicle on the basis of the received data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
