PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a display panel substrate equipped with a protective coating excellent in flatness of fine rugged surface of a display device, substrate flexibility, and pencil hardness, the display panel substrate manufactured by the manufacturing method, and a touch panel display device equipped with the display panel substrate.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a display panel substrate includes a process 1, process 2, and process 3 in this sequence, which are an application process of applying a photosensitive composition on a surface of a display panel where a touch detection electrode is provided, a solvent removal process of removing a solvent from the applied photosensitive composition, and a hardening process of hardening the photosensitive composition with the solvent removed with light or heat, respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
