PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant illumination cover having both excellent non-ignitionability and excellent non-carbonization properties, and, preferably, further having excellent light-diffusing properties, excellent processability, excellent moldability, and excellent impact resistance, and also to provide a flame-retardant illumination device having such a flame-retardant illumination cover.SOLUTION: In a railway vehicle material combustion test conducted by the Japan Railway Rolling Stock and Machinery Association, a flame-retardant illumination cover gives a result that neither ignition nor carbonation occurs. The content ratio of an inorganic material contained in the flame-retardant illumination cover is less than 50 wt.%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
