PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact device capable of improving cut-off performance to high current while achieving downsizing.SOLUTION: A contact device 1 comprises a fixing member 4 provided with a fixed terminal 21 and a fixed contact 31, and a movable member 5 provided with a movable contact 32. The fixing member 4 comprises a terminal piece 41 provided with the fixed terminal 21, a contact piece 42 provided with the fixed contact 31, and a pair of coupling pieces 43 and 44 for coupling the terminal piece 41 and the contact piece 42 so as to electrically connect the fixed terminal 21 and the fixed contact 31. The pair of coupling pieces 43 and 44 are arranged at predetermined intervals in a second direction (longitudinal direction) orthogonal to a first direction (vertical direction). The movable contact 32 is arranged so that the position in the first direction comes between the terminal piece 41 and the contact piece 42 and the position in the second direction comes between the pair of coupling pieces 43 and 44.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
