PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user-friendly washing machine.SOLUTION: A washing machine includes: a washing tub provided in a housing; a rotary vane provided at a bottom part of the washing tub; a top cover formed at an upper part of the housing; and a lid that pivots about a rotary shaft for opening backward when putting in/taking out laundry. The top cover has a lateral upper surface part which vertically overlaps with both left and right sides of the lid when the lid is closed, a front upper surface part which vertically overlaps with a front side of the lid when the lid is closed, and a front end upper surface part which is the front side of the front upper surface part, and which is exposed without vertically overlapping with the lid even when the lid is closed, and operation parts are provided both on the front upper surface part and the front end upper surface part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
