PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing apparatus of a cast-iron friction member, which allows performing a nitriding treatment in a shorter time compared to a conventional method, applying to a small lot production, and easily adjusting production adjustment, and a manufacturing method of the cast-iron friction member.SOLUTION: A nitriding treatment apparatus 20 includes a gas nitriding furnace 21, a heating apparatus 41, and a gas introduction apparatus 51. The gas nitriding furnace 21 accommodates a disk rotor 10 before the nitriding treatment is performed. The heating apparatus 41 does not heat the whole gas nitriding furnace 21, but heats a friction part 11 of the disk rotor 10 accommodated, and heats each of friction surfaces 13, 14. The gas introduction apparatus 51 introduces nitriding gas into the gas nitriding furnace 21 with each of the friction surfaces 13, 14 heated to maintain a nitriding treatment temperature.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
