PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared ray detection device capable of detecting sudden noises without increasing the circuit scale.SOLUTION: A digital circuit 5 has a calculation unit 51 and a noise detection part 52. The calculation unit 51 calculates a differential value in digital values with respect to plural continuous sampling timings and a sampling timing preceding the same by one. The noise detection part 52 detects for any sudden noise based on a comparison result of the differential value obtained by using the plural sampling timings and a predetermined threshold level.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
