PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxide complex which can offer a nonaqueous lithium ion secondary battery having both of a high discharge capacity and a high discharge rate characteristic.SOLUTION: An oxide complex comprises: a lithium-containing complex oxide (A) having a lamellar crystal structure with Li arranged in a lamellar form, and expressed by the compositional formula (1), LiMnM'O(1) {where M' represents at least one metal element other than Mn or Li; the relation given by 0≤x<1 and 0≤α<1 is satisfied}; and at least one metal oxide (B) selected from a group consisting of yttrium, zirconium and a lanthanoid.
