PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permanent magnet type rotary electric machine which improves output while keeping a mechanical strength of a rotor core, and a washing machine employing the same.SOLUTION: In the permanent magnet type rotary electric machine, a rotor with permanent magnets accommodated in a plurality of permanent magnet insertion holes formed in the rotor core is supported in an inner circumference of a stator in a freely rotatable manner via a predetermined gap. A rotor magnetic pole core at an outer circumferential side of the rotor in the permanent magnet includes a d-axis slit that is long in a radial direction, and a magnetic bridge is included which is formed by recessing a part at an outer circumferential side of the rotor core at a q-axis side to an inner diameter side. On a q-axis line and between the permanent magnets or at an inner diameter side of the permanent magnets, a circular or elliptical q-axis slit is formed. The outer circumferential side of the magnetic bridge, the d-axis slit and the q-axis slit are molded by injection molding, and both end sides of the rotor in an axial direction, the d-axis slit and the q-axis slit are coupled by molding.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
