PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately transmit load between a pillar and side sills while securing a large cross-section of a lower part of a pillar.SOLUTION: A pillar outer panel 12 is arranged outside a sill outer panel 22 in a vehicle width direction. A pillar inner panel 11 is arranged inside a sill inner panel 21 in the vehicle with direction. On at least one of the pillar outer panel 12 and the pillar inner panel 11, a projecting part 13 projecting toward the side sills and connected to the flanges 21c, 22c of the side sill, is formed. While securing a large cross-section of the lower part of the pillar, a load of the pillar is input to the flanges 21c, 22c having relatively high strength in the side sill.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
