PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve exhaust performance and quietness of a vehicle, regarding an engine control device.SOLUTION: An engine control device 1 switching between premixed combustion operation and diffusion combustion operation according to a travel state of a vehicle, includes: a detection unit 2 detecting the presence/absence of a sudden deceleration request for suddenly decelerating a vehicle on the basis of driving operation of a driver; and a determination unit 7 prohibiting the premixed combustion operation for a period during which the sudden deceleration request is detected by the detection unit 2, and then allowing the diffusion combustion operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
