PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide non-invasive methods for determining fetal chromosomal aneuploidy which are capable of collecting fetus-derived nucleated erythrocyte from maternal blood without fail and determining the fetus chromosomal aneuploidy.SOLUTION: Provided is a non-invasive method for determining fetus chromosomal aneuploidy comprising collecting fetus-derived nucleated erythrocyte candidates from maternal blood without fail and determining the fetal chromosomal aneuploidy, where the fetal nucleated erythrocyte candidate cells are discriminated and separated from cells in the maternal blood based on the morphological information, and a genotype analysis is carried out to determine whether the isolated candidate cells are derived from the fetus or not, and when the cells are derived from the fetus, the discrimination of the chromosomal aneuploidy is carried out on the chromosomal DNA.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
