PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bench which, even in the case where a distance between the legs is different, can be formed with the same members without using special members each time.SOLUTION: With a seat part installed between two leg parts 2 which are erected in a prescribed direction with a space apart, a dovetail fitting groove 13 is provided continuously in the prescribed direction in the underside of the seat part. The bolt head of fixing bolts B1 for fixing the seat part to the leg parts 2 is freely slidably inserted into the fitting groove 13. As a result, when the seat part only is replaced and repaired in an existing bench, even if a distance between the leg parts 2 may be different, the fixing bolts B1 are made to slide in the fitting groove 13 of the seat part, and arranged in desired positions to fix the leg parts 2 to the seat part.
