Disclosed are a lifting apparatus and a container horizontality maintaining method using the same. The lift apparatus enables a stable lifting operation regardless of a change in the gravity center of a large structure such as a container. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the lifting apparatus includes: multiple location sensors installed to correspond to each corner of a container; a fluid transfer module including multiple fluid storage units connected by transfer pipes; and a control unit which controls the movement of fluids between the fluid storage units in accordance with height differences regarding the individual corners measured by the location sensors. |
