摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an electrode for a power storage device which allows for efficient formation of a smooth protective layer on the surface of an active material layer.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing an electrode for a power storage device having a protective layer on the surface of an active material layer 12, existing on the surface of a metal foil 11, i.e., a metallic current collector, includes a protective layer formation step for coating the surface of the active material layer 12 with slurry 13a for protective coat, where a protective coat material for forming the protective layer is dispersed into a solvent, applying a high frequency electric field to an electrode precursor 15 coated with the slurry 13a for protective coat, and heating the active material layer 12 by induction heating, and forming a protective layer by drying the slurry 13a for protective coat applied to the surface of the active material layer 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
