PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device having excellent display characteristics and a method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A display device 1 has a wire 22 provided on a substrate 20, an interlayer insulation layer 23, an anode 26a provided above the interlayer insulation layer 23, a contact electrode 26b connected to a part of the wire 22 exposed to the bottom surface in a contact hole 25 formed in the interlayer insulation layer 23, an opening portion 27 provided between the anode 26a and the contact electrode 26b, a first partition wall 28 provided so as to cover the opening portion 27, a light emission layer 29 provided in an area surrounded by the first partition wall 28, a second partition wall 30 which is provided on the first partition wall 28 and has an inverted taper shape, an organic functional layer 32 provided above the light emission layer 29, and a cathode 24 provided on the organic functional layer 32. The anode 26a is provided commonly to plural pixels 4, and the cathode 34 and the organic functional layer 32 are severed every plural pixels 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
