PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nanocomposite material which is hard to agglomerate even if the microminiaturization of its particle diameter is achieved, and which enables the high density accumulation; a dispersion solution of such a nanocomposite material; and a high-efficiency photoelectric conversion device to which such a nanocomposite material is applied.SOLUTION: A nanocomposite material comprises: silicon nanoparticles 17; and a carbon-based compound 13 on the surface of each silicon nanoparticle. The silicon nanoparticle has a Si-C bond, which can be identified by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The silicon nanoparticle 17 is bound, by the Si-C bond, to the carbon-based compound 13 present on the surface thereof. The carbon-based compound 13 is a polyoxyethylene-based compound. A nanocomposite material dispersion solution comprises: the nanocomposite material dispersed in an aqueous solution; and hydrogen fluoride. A photoelectric conversion device comprises: a substrate; and the nanocomposite material accumulated on the substrate. The photoelectric conversion device has an accumulation film arranged by accumulating the silicon nanoparticles 17 on the substrate; the accumulation film has a peak originating from a Si-C bond according to a photoelectron spectroscopic analysis.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
