PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor capable of suppressing noise due to resonance generated in a muffler space.SOLUTION: A rotary compressor 101 includes a compression mechanism 15, a crank shaft 17, and a rear muffler 46. The compression mechanism has a rear head 43. The rear muffler forms an annular rear muffler space 33 with the rear head. The rear head has a rear discharge port 43b, a muffler fastening hole 43e, and a rib 43g. A rib is formed in the rear muffler space. The rear muffler space has a first muffler part space 33a and a second muffler part space 33b. The first muffler part space is within a range free from the muffler fastening hole and the rib in a circumferential direction of the rear muffler space. The second muffler part space is within a range having the rib in the circumferential direction of the rear muffler space. A radial cross-sectional area of the second muffler part space is 70% or less of a radial cross-sectional area of the first muffler part space.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
