PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous external preparation for skin that contains water, components such as menthol, ethanol, and a nonionic surfactant, and is capable of exhibiting an excellent feeling of use.SOLUTION: The external preparation for skin according to the present invention contains: (A) water; (B) a compound selected from a group consisting of menthol, 1,8-cineole, l-menthyl glyceryl ether, and menthyl lactate; (C) ethanol; (D) a nonionic surfactant; (E) a polyoxyalkylene glyceryl ether; (F) a dicarboxylic acid bis (polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether)ester; and (G) a vinylpyrrolidone-styrene copolymer; wherein [the content of the component (F)/the content of the component (E)](mass ratio) is 1.0 to 10.0, and [(the content of the component (E) + the content of the component (F)/the content of the component (G)](mass ratio) is 4.0 to 23.0.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
