PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external fitting frame and a repair method of the external fitting frame in which fire protection performance can be prevented from degradation.SOLUTION: An upper frame 10 of a window frame 5 includes an upper frame body 11, a synthetic resin cover member 12 and a metallic upper frame reinforcing material 13. The upper frame body 11 includes a metallic indoor member 111 and outdoor member 112, and a synthetic resin insulating member 113. The outdoor member 112 has a mounting piece part 117 screwed to an outdoor surface of a building frame 3, and the indoor member 111 has a fixing piece part 115 with a cover member 12 screwed thereto. The cover member 12 includes a covering part 121 disposed along the fixing piece part 115 of the indoor member 111, and an extension part 122 extending from the covering part 121. The upper frame reinforcing material 13 includes a mounting part 132 screwed on the outdoor surface of an opening edge member 4 along with the extension part 122 of the cover member 12, and a fixing part 131 screwed on the fixing piece part 115 of the indoor member 111 through the covering part 121 of the cover member 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
