PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable appropriate delivery of an article in a system delivering the article from a supply device to a reception device.SOLUTION: A delivery system comprises: a supply device having a supply port supplying an article; and a reception device having a reception port capable of receiving the article supplied from the supply port. The delivery system further comprises a detection section capable of detecting a first state where the supply port and the reception port engage with each other and the supply device and the reception device are joined together, a second state where there is a gap between the supply port and the reception port and the supply device and the reception device come closer to each other and a third state where an interval of the gap is greater than that in the second state and the supply device and the reception device are spaced apart from each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
