PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evaluate a hydrogen embrittlement resistance characteristic in a state in which the state of a steel exposed to a high-pressure hydrogen gas environment is simulated.SOLUTION: A sample steel is disposed in a water tank having a microbubble generation mechanism, microbubbles are generated under water in the water tank, and the sample steel is exposed to the generated microbubbles, whereby hydrogen radicals generated by the microbubbles are chemically adsorbed to the surface of the sample steel. Thereafter, a tensile test is performed on the sample steel, and its hydrogen embrittlement resistance characteristic is evaluated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
