PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a header of a heat exchanger capable of sufficiently securing strength of the header so that it can cope with a water-hammer phenomenon and the like while suppressing increase of a thickness of the header.SOLUTION: A header H of a heat exchanger includes a first wall portion 22b to which a plurality of heat transfer tubes 1 of the heat exchanger HE1 are connected, a second wall portion 30a opposed to the first wall portion 22b at an interval, and a peripheral wall portion 30b connecting outer peripheral edge portions of the first and second wall portions 22b, 30a to form a mutual region of the first and second wall portions 22b, 30a as a fluid inflow chamber 36. At least one of the first and second wall portions 22b, 30a is curved so that the region close to the center is positioned at an inner side of the chamber 36 with respect to the region close to the outer peripheral edge of the wall portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
