PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel battery stack in which the temperature of a center portion (high-temperature portion) is reduced to uniformalize the temperature distribution.SOLUTION: A fuel battery cell stack 4 is configured by stacking plural flat plate type fuel battery cells 10 electrically in series. At least some fuel battery cells 10A out of the fuel battery cells arranged at the intermediate portion in the stack direction are arranged to protrude from the row of the other fuel battery cells 10B. Specifically, the plural flat plate type solid oxide fuel battery cells 10 in which the cell area of the fuel battery cells 10A at the center portion is set to be larger the cell area of the other fuel battery cells 10B are stacked electrically in series to form the fuel battery cell stack 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
