PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car body front part structure of an automobile capable of surely protecting pedestrian and avoiding increase in size of a car body front part.SOLUTION: The car body front part structure of an automobile is equipped with a radiator support 3 including left and right vertical support members 9 extending at least vertically, being arranged at a front end part 2a of left and right side members 2. A vehicle rear surface of a portion 9c' corresponding to a knee part of a pedestrian of the left and right vertical support members 9 is connected to a rigid member 18, so that the rigidity of the rigid member connection portion 9c' of the left and right support members 9 becomes higher than that of an upper part 9f.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
