PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dehumidifier capable of maintaining a dehumidifying function even when the temperature of a compressor rises.SOLUTION: A dehumidifier includes: a housing having a suction port and a discharge port; an air blower for blowing air sucked from the suction port from the discharge port; a compressor for compressing coolant; a condenser for cooling the coolant compressed by the compressor; a decompression device for decompressing the coolant cooled by the condenser; an evaporator which is provided so that the air sucked into the air blower is passed and performs heat absorption to the coolant decompressed by the decompression device so as to remove moisture contained in the air; a temperature sensor which is mounted in the compressor so as to transmit a signal corresponding to the temperature of the compressor; and a control device for reducing the number of rotation of the compressor when the signal received from the temperature sensor is a signal corresponding to a temperature higher than a temperature set in advance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
