PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a decorative component which can enhance industrial design by enabling a paint to be applied only onto a necessary part.SOLUTION: A decorative component of this invention is manufactured through a coating step for forming a coating film layer 10 by coating a decorative region 4 of a component blank 2. Before the coating step, a decorative layer formation step for forming a decorative layer 6 in the decorative region 4 is performed. The coating step includes a first coating film layer formation step, a second coating film layer formation step, and a hardening step. At the first coating film layer formation step, a first coating film layer 11 is formed by applying a first paint over the whole of the decorative region 4. At the second coating film layer formation step, a second coating film layer 12 is formed by applying a second paint L2 from an ink jet nozzle 26 to a part of the decorative region 4. At the hardening step, the precedently applied paint of the first paint and the second paint is hardened before the post-stage step of the first coating film layer formation step and the second coating film layer formation step is executed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
