PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device provided with floating suppression sections suppressing floating of a medium so as to be able to perform recording on the medium in a state of an attitude of the medium being kept constant.SOLUTION: A recording device includes: a paper feed roller pair 17 transporting a sheet P; a recording section 14 performing recording on the sheet transported by the paper feed roller; a plurality of floating suppression sections 30 being brought into contact with the sheet transported from upper sides in a vertical direction on a medium transportation path 20 where the sheet is transported by the paper feed roller and between the paper feed roller pair and the recording section, being provided across a width direction being a direction intersecting with a transportation direction of the sheet and suppressing floating of the sheet; and a plurality of support ribs being positioned among the plurality of floating suppression sections provided and supporting the sheet from lower sides. The floating suppression sections are provided at different positions in the transportation direction across a plurality of rows. As the floating suppression sections approach toward a downstream side of the transportation direction, the floating suppression sections gradually and strongly suppress the floating of the sheet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
