PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an "image display device" that resolves display unevenness, such as black unevenness occurring due to ununiformity of a cell gap between a liquid crystal panel and a substrate.SOLUTION: There is provided an image display device 11 that has an image display part 15 including a liquid crystal panel 13, and a pressing mechanism 18 for pressing a predetermined area of the surface of the liquid crystal panel 13. The pressing mechanism 18 presses the predetermined area of the surface of the liquid crystal panel 13 to make a cell gap of the liquid crystal panel 13 uniform at the height of a photospacer, which results in resolving display unevenness, such as black unevenness.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
