The method involves tensioning a cable between poles e.g. supporting poles, where the cable comprises a core wire designed as a high strength aluminum clad invar (HACIN) wire, and a cladding wire designed as a temperature resistant aluminum (TAL) wire or zirconium temperature resistant aluminum (ZTAL) wire. The cable is elongated after fixation of the cable at the poles at a pre-determined time period of about 30 to 60 minutes with a pre-determined force such that the wires are elastically elongated under displacement of transition points at low temperature.
