The present invention relates to a continuous casting device comprising: a mold, nozzles, and a width direction controller. A plurality of nozzles are separately arranged in each of a plurality of sections divided from a front end of a section where a casted piece drawn to a lower side of the mold is unbent to a width direction of the casted piece in order to inject cooling water to the casted piece. The width direction controller controls an amount of cooling water supplied to each nozzle based on the temperatures of parts of a surface of the casted piece corresponding to each of the plurality of sections. In a process of casting the casted piece by receiving molten steel, presented are the continuous casting device and a continuous casting method capable of uniformly cooling the casted piece in the width direction by injecting the cooling water to each of the plurality of sections to correspond to a target amount of the cooling water supplied to each of the plurality of sections calculated based on the temperatures of the parts of the surface of the cased piece in each of the plurality of sections.
