A method for actuating a fluid pump arrangement and a fluid pump arrangement (100) for a vehicle are specified. The method has the following steps: predefining (S1) of a setpoint value for a fluid pressure in a fluid outflow line (116); determining (S2) of a current strength (125) which is assigned to a pump motor rotational speed (123) and corresponds to the predefined setpoint value for the fluid pressure; outputting (S3) of the current strength (125) which is read out to a pump motor (120) of the fluid pump arrangement (100), wherein the pump motor (120) is a synchronous motor. In this way, a pressure sensor in the fluid outflow line can be dispensed with, since the current strength of the pump motor serves as an actuating variable and is determined based on the envisaged fluid pressure and a rotational speed of the pump motor. |
