The present invention relates to a method for reducing membrane fouling in a water treatment apparatus using a separation membrane and, more particularly, to a method for reducing membrane fouling in a water treatment apparatus using a separation membrane, which controls a flow rate in a sinusoidal variable-rate operation scheme. The present invention can ensure a water treatment capacity that is equivalent to the conventional on/off operation scheme and at the same time can significantly reduce fouling of a separation membrane. As a result, energy required for operating the water treatment apparatus can be remarkably reduced. |
