Disclosed are an access method and a device. The method comprises: when the quantity of resources required by a current service is greater than a set threshold, a user terminal sends a carrier extension request to a base station, the carrier extension request being used for requesting the base station to allocate available spectrum resources; the user terminal receives the available spectrum resource sent by the base station; the user terminal calculates, according to the quantity of resources required by the current service and the available spectrum resources, the quantity of antenna channels to be opened, and opens antenna channels corresponding to the quantity of the antenna channels; and the user terminal sends an access request to the base station, the access request carrying the antenna channels to be opened by the user terminal. A user terminal requests available spectrum resources from a base station according to the quantity of resources required by a current service, and accordingly, the complexity of scheduling resources by the base station is effectively reduced, and the fairness of resource scheduling is achieved; the user terminal calculates, according to the quantity of resources required by the current service and the available spectrum resources, the quantity of antenna channels to be opened, and opens proper antenna channels, and accordingly, power consumption of an antenna system of the user terminal is reduced, and the energy saving effect is achieved. |
