The present invention relates to a method of mitigating messages-based malicious attacks, comprising: a) classifying a message as suspicious, whenever the calculation of the respective awareness levels of one or more individual users that reported the message as suspicious, is above a threshold; b) applying a similarity algorithm on messages received by other users for detection of non-reported and incoming/new messages with similar properties to the suspicious message; and c) upon detection of such similar messages, taking control over each suspicious message by applying mitigating actions to neutralize the suspicious messages. |
