A holder (1) for paper receipts (2) comprises an elongate member curved to substantially form a loop portion (3) having first and second ends (4, 5). Each of the first and second ends (4, 5) is adapted to pierce a paper receipt (2) for attachment on the loop portion (3), the loop portion (3) having a substantially constant circular cross-section along its length between the first and seconds ends (4, 5) to enable receipts (2) attached on the loop portion (3) to be freely moved between the first and second ends (4, 5). A closure means (8) is provided for connecting the first and seconds ends (4, 5) together to close the loop, the loop portion (3) and the closure means (8) forming a substantially annular configuration when the first and second ends (4, 5) are connected together. A pair of stoppers (13) removably engages the loop portion (3) so as to prevent receipts (2) attached on the loop portion (3) from becoming detached via the first and second ends (4, 5) when the closure means (8) is opened unless the stoppers (13) are disengaged from the loop portion (3). |
