The present invention relates to a tilting device of a steering column and, particularly, smoothly induces a toothed coupling between a moving gear, which moves by interlocking with a tilt shaft during the operation of an operation lever for tilting-up and tilting-down motions, and a fixed gear fixed to a vehicle body, thereby providing advantages of being able to eliminate a sense of poor operations and prevent a degradation in emotional quality for consumers.
