The office, work and leisure chair serves for causing subliminal movements of the person sitting thereon. It consists of a cruciform base (1) and freely articulated rollers (4), a gas-spring support (2) and, resting thereon, an interface panel (5) with a backrest (22), and a base panel (28) mounted on the interface panel (5). Everything necessary for the wobble capability is constructed on said base panel. A cover panel (27) rests above the base panel (28) on a plurality of spring elements (7), which are mounted such that they can be displaced radially, obliquely in relation to the radial or helically from the centre of the base panel (28) in each case in the direction of the periphery of the base panel (28). Said spring elements (7) can be displaced outwards or inwards, counter to a spring force, by means of a push-pull cable or by means of at least one Bowden cable, it therefore being possible to vary the distance by which the seat cover (19) wobbles and the force and/or the weight required for the wobble action. |
