A state display method according to one embodiment involves: measuring the biological activity of a subject over time, and among the results thereof, determining, on the basis of the measurement results for assigned periods, whether there is a superior period among periods during which the subject is determined to be sleeping and periods during which the subject is determined not to be sleeping during the assigned periods; and changing the configuration of a screen for displaying information pertaining to the state of the subject during the assigned periods according to the distinction of the period determined to be superior. For example, the change would be to the display items or display tone of the configuration. |
